1:1This is the Revelation of Yeshua the Messiah, which God gave him to show to his servants the things which must happen soon, which he sent and made known by his angel to his servant, Yochanan,1:2who testified to God's word, and of the testimony of Yeshua the Messiah, about everything that he saw.
1:3Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and keep the things that are written in it, for the time is at hand.
1:4Yochanan, to the seven assemblies that are in Asia: Grace to you and shalom, from God, who is and who was and who is to come; and from the seven Spirits who are before his throne;from the seven Spirits-1:5and from Yeshua the Messiah, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the eretz. To him who loves us, and washed us from our sins by his blood;
There shall come forth a netzer out of the stock of Yishai, and a branch out of his roots shall bear fruit. (1)The Spirit of the YHVH shall rest on him, (2) the spirit of wisdom and (3) understanding, (4)the spirit of counsel and (5) might, the (6)spirit of knowledge and of (7)the fear of the LORD.
Isaiah 11:1-2For [God] has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him,1:6and he made us to be a kingdom, Kohanim to his God and Father; to him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Ameyn.
and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.
Colossians 1:13-20Now if you obey me fully and keep my covenant, then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession. Although the whole earth is mine, you will be for me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.' These are the words you are to speak to the Israelites.1:7Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, including those who pierced him. All the tribes of the eretz will mourn over him. Even so, Ameyn.
Exodus 19:5-6he is coming with the clouds-1:8"I am the (Alef) and the (Tav),"says the Lord God, "who is and who was and who is to come, Shaddai."
I saw in the night-visions, and, behold, there came with the clouds of the sky one like a son of man, and he came even to the Ancient of Days, and they brought him near before him. There was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all the peoples, nations, and languages should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.
those who pierced him. All the tribes of the eretz will mourn over him-
I will pour on the house of David, and on the inhabitants of Yerushalayim, the spirit of grace and of supplication; and they will look to me whom they have pierced; and they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for his only son, and will grieve bitterly for him, as one grieves for his firstborn. In that day there will be a great mourning in Yerushalayim, like the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddo.The land will mourn, every family apart; the family of the house of David apart, and their wives apart; the family of the house of Natan apart, and their wives apart; the family of the house of Levi apart, and their wives apart; the family of the Shim`i apart, and their wives apart; all the families who remain, every family apart, and their wives apart.
What is the cause of the mourning [mentioned in the last cited verse]? — R. Dosa and the Rabbis differ on the point. One explained, The cause is the slaying of Messiah the son of Joseph, and the other explained, The cause is the slaying of the Evil Inclination.
It is well according to him who explains that the cause is the slaying of Messiah the son of Joseph, since that well agrees with the Scriptural verse, And they shall look upon me because they have thrust him through, and they shall mourn for him as one mourneth for his only son; but according to him who explains the cause to be the slaying of the Evil Inclination, is this [it may be objected] an occasion for mourning? Is it not rather an occasion for rejoicing? Why then should they weep? — [The explanation is] as R. Judah expounded: In the time to come the Holy One, blessed be He, will bring the Evil Inclination and slay it in the presence of the righteous and the wicked. To the righteous it will have the appearance of a towering hill, and to the wicked it will have the appearance of a hair thread. Both the former and the latter will weep; the righteous will weep saying, ‘How were we able to overcome such a towering hill!’ The wicked also will weep saying, ‘How is it that we were unable to conquer this hair thread!’

1:9I, Yochanan, your brother and partner with you in oppression, kingdom, and perseverance in Messiah Yeshua, was on the isle that is called Patmos because of God's Word and the testimony of Yeshua the Messiah.In the thirtieth year, in the fourth month on the fifth day, while I was among the exiles by the Kebar River, the heavens were opened and I saw visions of God.1:10I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and I heard behind me a loud voice, like a shofar1:11saying,"What you see, write in a book and send to the seven assemblies: to Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and to Laodicea."
1:12I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. Having turned, I saw seven golden menorot. 1:13And among the menorot was one like a son of man, clothed with a robe reaching down to his feet, and with a golden sash around his chest.among the menorot was one like a son of man-1:14His head and his hair were white as white wool, like snow. His eyes were like a flame of fire.
And in that place mine eyes saw the Elect One of righteousness and of faith,
And I saw his dwelling-place under the wings of the Lord of Spirits.
And righteousness shall prevail in his days.
1 Enoch 39:6-7, Ethiopic Apocalypse
Aher mutilated the shoots. Of him Scripture says: Suffer not thy mouth to bring thy flesh into guilt. What does it refer to? — He saw that permission was granted to Metatron to sit and write down the merits of Israel. Said he: It is taught as a tradition that on high there is no sitting and no emulation, and no back, and no weariness. Perhaps, — God forfend! — there are two divinities! [Thereupon] they led Metatron forth, and punished him with sixty fiery lashes, saying to him: Why didst thou not rise before him when thou didst see him? Permission was [then] given to him to strike out the merits of Aher. A Bath Kol went forth and said: Return, ye backsliding children — except Aher.

R. Ishmael said: The angel Metatron, Prince of the Divine Presence, said to me:
The Holy One, blessed be he, revealed to me from that time onward all the mysteries of wisdom, all the depths of the perfect Torah and all the thoughts of men's hearts. All the mysteries of the world and all the orders of nature stand revealed before me as they stand revealed before the Creator. From that time onward I looked and beheld deep secrets and wonderful mysteries. Before a man thinks in secret, I see his thought; before he acts, I see his act. There is nothing in heaven above or deep within the earth concealed from me. R. Ishmael said: Metatron, Prince of the Divine Presence, said to me: Out of the love which he had for me, more than for all the denizens of the heights, the Holy One, blessed be he, fashioned for me a majestic robe, in which all kinds of luminaries were set, and he clothed me in it. He fashioned for me a glorious cloak in which brightness, brilliance, splendor, and lustre of every kind were fixed, and he wrapped me in it. He fashioned for me a kingly crown in which 49 refulgent stones were placed, each like the sun's orb, and its brilliance shone into the four quarters of the heaven of 'Arabot, into the seven heavens, and into the four quarters of the world. He set it on my head and he called me, 'the lesser YHWH' in the presence of his whole household in the height, as it iswritten, 'My name is in him.'

his hair were white as white wool, like snow-1:15His feet were like burnished brass, as if it had been refined in a furnace. His voice was like the voice of many waters.
I saw until thrones were placed, and one who was Ancient of Days sat: his clothing was white as snow, and the hair of his head like pure wool;
Daniel 7:9, NIV
His eyes were like a flame of fire-
I have seen the Lord’s eyes, shining like the sun’s rays and filling the eyes of man with awe.

Pat Marvenko Smith 1982/1992His feet were like burnished brass-1:16He had seven stars in his right hand. Out of his mouth proceeded a sharp two-edged sword.
I looked, and I saw a figure like that of a man. From what appeared to be his waist down he was like fire, and from there up his appearance was as bright as glowing metal.
voice of many waters-
Then the man brought me to the gate facing east, and I saw the glory of the God of Israel coming from the east. His voice was like the roar of rushing waters, and the land was radiant with his glory.
The vision I saw was like the vision I had seen when he came to destroy the city and like the visions I had seen by the Kebar River, and I fell facedown. The glory of the LORD entered the temple through the gate facing east.
Ezekiel 43:1-4Out of his mouth proceeded a sharp two-edged sword -His face was like the sun shining at its brightest.
For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
Hebrews 4:12His face was like the sun-1:17When I saw him, I fell at his feet like a dead man. He laid his right hand on me, saying, "Don't be afraid. I am the first and the last, 1:18and the Living one. I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Ameyn. I have the keys of Death and of Sh'ol. 1:19Write therefore the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which will happen hereafter; 1:20the mystery of the seven stars which you saw in my right hand, and the seven golden menorot. The seven stars are the angels of the seven assemblies. The seven menorot are seven assemblies.
On the tenth heaven, Aravoth, I saw the appearance of the Lord’s face, like iron made to glow in fire, and brought out, emitting sparks, and it burns. Thus in a moment of eternity I saw the Lord’s face, but the Lord’s face is ineffable, marvellous and very awful, and very, very terrible. And who am I to tell of the Lord’s unspeakable being, and of his very wonderful face? And I cannot tell the quantity of his many instructions, and various voices, the Lord's throne is very great and not made with hands, nor the quantity of those standing round him, troops of cherubim and seraphim, nor their incessant singing, nor his immutable beauty, and who shall tell of the ineffable greatness of his glory.
