  One of the strongest dividing forces among believersin Yeshua and non-believing Jews appears in the area of messianic prophecy. Many of the prophecies claimed to be messianic by the Brit Chadasha are not viewed as messianic by modern rabbis. In this section we will examine some of these prophecies, such as Psalm 2 and 22, Daniel 9:25, Isaiah 53 and others, and interpret how these verses are messianic and how they were viewed as such by many ancient rabbis. These prophecies are important in that they explain many of the key concepts of Yeshua's mission during the First Century. This section will cover this important topic and answer many of the problems that often arise over this dispute. |
